FIRST YEARS EARLY REPORTING

Early reporting for all First years will be open from 8th July to 12th August 2024.
We encourage all first years to take advantage of this opportunity to enhance your registration process and get to know your university.
In order to take advantage of these opportunity you are required to do the following:
  1. Upload the following documents to our online student portal. All these uploads can either be in PDF, JPEG, JPG or PNG formats and should not exceed 2MB in size.
    1. Duly filled and signed Personal details form downloaded along with your Admission Letter (If you do not have this form CLICK HERE TO REGISTER and download the required documents)
    2. Soft copy of your Passport Photo
    3. Scanned Copy of KCSE Certificate/Result Slip
    4. Scanned Copy of School Leaving Certificate (from former Secondary School)
    5. Scanned Copy of National ID or Birth Certificate
    NOTE: Incase you have challenges in uploading the required documents, seek assistance from the admissions office or your faculty resource centre.
  2. The university will open its doors for early registration of the 2024/2025 first years from 8th to 26th July 2024. During this period, students are expected to come to the university after having uploaded their documents as per no. 1 above to finalize the registration process.
  3. During the early registration exersice please note that:
    1. You are not required to pay any fees except accommodation fees (PLEASE BEWARE OF FRAUDSTERS).
    2. Bring with you to the university
      1. Downloaded Admission Letter
      2. Original and copy of the duly filled and signed Personal details form
      3. Original and Certified Copy of KCSE Certificate/Result Slip
      4. Original and certified copy of School Leaving Certificate (from former Secondary School)
      5. Original and Copy of National ID or Birth Certificate
    3. You are required to pay for accommodation at the University during the early registration process. Payment for the accommodation should be done solely through e-citizen. (Download the updated hostel rates and payment method from the link below).

    4. Do not carry any luggage when coming for early registration
    5. You are encouraged to take advantage of the early registration window to familiarize yourself with our beloved institution
  5. The amount of fees payable by your household (parent/guardian/sponsor) shall be determined after the government has determined your level of need and this will be communicated to you by the university.
  6. Self sponsored students are required to pay fees as indicated in the admission letter
  7. Official reporting to the University for learning will be on 19th August 2024, orientation will run from 20th to 23rd August 2024 and classes begin on 26th August 2024.

NOTE: DO NOT PAY ANY CASH TO ANYONE STAFF, STUDENT OR OTHERWISE CLAIMING TO BE RECEIVING SAID CASH ON BEHALF OF THE UNIVERSITY. YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO REPORT SUCH CASES/ REQUEST TO OUR SECURITY STAFF
